What is Rosie?
Rosie is TMS.ai's personal AI assistant that works alongside your team to handle routine tasks, update information, and answer questions about your operations. Think of Rosie as an AI teammate who's available 24/7, understands your entire freight operation, and can instantly complete tasks that would normally require navigating through multiple screens or searching through records. You interact with Rosie through natural language (just type what you need), and she executes tasks, provides information, or offers suggestions based on the full context of your TMS.ai data.
Rosie has access to your complete operational context including all orders and their current status, customer profiles and shipping history, carrier network and performance data, rate tables and contracted pricing, and driver availability and location. This comprehensive visibility allows Rosie to provide informed answers and take actions that consider all relevant factors rather than operating with limited information like traditional chatbots.
How Rosie works:
- Natural language interaction: You communicate with Rosie by typing questions or requests in plain English directly within the TMS.ai interface. There's no need to learn specific commands or syntax. Ask questions like "Which orders are picking up tomorrow in Chicago?" or make requests like "Update order #12345 delivery date to Friday" or "Show me our top 10 customers by revenue this month."
- Context awareness: Rosie understands the full context of your operation. When you reference an order, customer, or driver, Rosie knows the complete history and current state. If you ask "Is the driver available for this load?", Rosie checks the driver's current assignment, hours of service status, equipment type, location, and scheduled availability to provide a complete answer.
- Task execution: Rosie can directly modify data in TMS.ai based on your requests. She can update order details (change pickup times, add stops, modify commodity information), reassign orders to different carriers or drivers, add notes or special instructions to orders, update customer contact information, change order status (mark as delivered, cancel, put on hold), and create new tasks or reminders for your team.
- Information retrieval: When you ask Rosie for information, she searches across your entire TMS.ai database and presents relevant results. She can find specific orders by any criteria (customer name, pickup location, delivery date, order status), retrieve customer shipping patterns and preferences, show carrier performance metrics and lane history, display driver schedules and availability, and provide real-time shipment status and location.
- Intelligent suggestions: Rosie offers proactive recommendations based on patterns in your data. When you're assigning a load, Rosie might suggest carriers with good performance on that lane. When entering a new order, she can auto-fill common information based on the customer's typical shipping patterns. If order details look unusual compared to historical patterns, Rosie flags potential issues for verification.
- Learning and adaptation: Rosie learns from your corrections and preferences over time. If you consistently modify her suggestions in certain ways or frequently perform specific tasks, she adapts to match your workflows.
