RMIS Integration
Carrier safety ratings matter for compliance and risk management. RMIS integration pulls real-time safety data directly into your carrier selection workflow so you see safety scores, inspection results, out-of-service percentages, crash data, and insurance verification before tendering loads.
When assigning partner carriers to quotes or orders, RMIS compliance checks are available automatically in the carrier selection interface. Ratings are updated in real-time when carriers are added to quotes or orders based on current RMIS data.
Setting it up:
- Go to Integrations in TMS.ai settings and select "RMIS Integration"
- Enter your RMIS API Key and account password
- Click "Connect" to authorize the integration
- Add carriers to your RMIS watchlist (this is done in your RMIS account, not TMS.ai)
- Important: Ensure carriers are created in TMS.ai with a valid DOT ID
- Compliance checks will appear automatically when you assign carriers to quotes and orders
To see compliance data for a carrier:
- The carrier must be in your RMIS watchlist
- The carrier must be created in TMS.ai with a valid DOT ID
- Both conditions are required for ratings to display
RMIS compliance checks are available when assigning partner carriers on Quotes and Orders. The integration flags carriers with high out-of-service rates, recent crashes, or insurance problems before you tender loads. Ratings update in real-time as you assign carriers, so you're always working with the carrier's most recent safety profile.
