Accurate mileage matters for customer quotes, carrier payments, and fuel surcharges. PC Miler calculates practical route miles using truck-specific routing that accounts for bridge heights, weight restrictions, and hazmat requirements.

When you enter origin and destination locations in quotes or orders, PC Miler automatically calculates route miles. The system provides estimated drive times based on typical truck speeds and accounts for required rest breaks under HOS regulations. Use these calculated miles for mileage-based customer rates, carrier payments based on mileage brackets, and fuel surcharge calculations.

Setting it up:

1. Contact your TMS.ai account team to request PC Miler integration
2. Provide your PC Miler account credentials and license information
3. TMS.ai support configures the integration on your account
4. Test mileage calculation with sample routes to verify accuracy
5. Activate for production use

PC Miler reflects actual miles driven using truck-specific routing, not straight-line distances. The routing accounts for:

• Bridge heights (avoiding low clearances)
• Weight restrictions (routing around weight-limited roads)
